Why Small Group Grinds Work Better
When it comes to tutoring, smaller really is better, especially for a subject as tricky as Higher Level Maths.
At Infinity Maths Grinds, we limit our classes to a maximum of 10 students. Here’s why that matters:
1. More Time Per Student
With fewer students, the tutor can spend more time helping individuals one-on-one, answering specific questions, revisiting difficult topics, or reviewing a student’s own exam work.
2. More Comfortable Learning Environment
Many students are hesitant to speak up in large classes. Our smaller groups create a relaxed atmosphere where asking questions is encouraged and even shy students find their voice.
3. Better Class Engagement
With fewer people in the room, it’s easier to stay focused. Students can’t hide at the back, and the tutor can spot who’s struggling and who’s flying ahead.
4. More Personalised Feedback
Small groups mean the tutor can track each student’s progress and adjust the pace or focus of lessons to suit the group’s needs.
5. Stronger Results
Our structure has one clear goal: helping students improve and succeed. With targeted support and exam-driven lessons, students at Infinity Maths Grinds don’t just survive maths, they thrive.
